Terms of service

These terms explain how our consultancy engagements and website are provided.

Our agreement

Releaseenginebase provides app analytics review, measurement design and release quality monitoring. A project begins only when both parties accept a written proposal stating scope, timing, fee and deliverables. That proposal and these terms form the agreement; the proposal prevails where they conflict.

Client responsibilities

You will provide accurate context, suitable access to agreed data and timely feedback. You confirm that you have authority to share the data supplied and that access complies with applicable privacy and employment obligations. Please remove unnecessary personal data before sharing.

Fees and payment

Fees are quoted in pounds sterling and exclude VAT where applicable. Invoices are due within 14 days unless the proposal says otherwise. We may pause work on an overdue account after reasonable notice. There is no online checkout on this website.

Deliverables and decisions

We apply reasonable professional care and base findings on the evidence available during the engagement. Analytics involves uncertainty; we do not guarantee a particular release, commercial or technical outcome. You remain responsible for product, engineering and business decisions.

Confidentiality and intellectual property

Each party will protect confidential information and use it only for the engagement. Once invoices are paid, you may use the commissioned report and recommendations internally. We retain ownership of pre-existing methods, templates and general know-how, without retaining your confidential data in them.

Liability

Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, our total liability relating to an engagement is limited to the fees paid for that engagement. We are not liable for indirect loss, lost profit or decisions made outside the agreed analysis.

Ending an engagement

Either party may end an engagement for material breach not corrected within 14 days of written notice. Fees remain due for completed work and committed costs. Cancellation arrangements are detailed in our refund policy.

Law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, whose courts have exclusive jurisdiction. Questions may be sent to hello@releaseenginebase.digital.
